Rick Kimball joined XMS Capital Partners in 2025 as a Managing Director with over 35 years of investment banking, venture capital, capital markets, and operational leadership experience. Based in New York, Rick is focused on delivering strategic M&A and financial advisory services to clients across the healthcare sector.

Rick was a Partner at Goldman Sachs and Co-Head of both Global Healthcare Investment Banking and the Healthcare, Consumer, and Retail Financing Group. Prior to this, Rick spent almost 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he led healthcare equity capital markets and healthcare services investment banking.

Beyond investment banking, Rick has held various leadership and advisory roles in the healthcare technology industry, including serving as the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer of R1 RCM and President of Rymedi, a provider of blockchain enabled healthcare data management software. Most recently, Rick was a Partner at CEO Coaching International, focused on helping growth-focused CEOs and Entrepreneurs achieve their business goals.

Rick holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and was a Fellow at the Stanford Distinguished Career Institute.
