Joseph Walsh Jr., general counsel for XMS Capital Partners, has over 40 years of experience in corporate law. Joe is a former partner and co-chairman of Winston & Strawn’s corporate department, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. He has extensive experience in the packaging industry, sports law and media law. Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Joe was in-house counsel for McDonald’s Corporation.

Joe has been honored in the peer rankings-based The Best Lawyers in America for corporate law, most recently in the 2011 and 2012 editions and in the Irish Legal 100 since September 2008. He received a B.A. with honors from Indiana University and J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Law School.
