Jacob Flynn is a Senior Associate at XA Investments. Prior to joining XAI, Jacob worked at Brookfield Asset Management, sitting on the trade desk, supporting publicly listed alternative equity and debt. Jacob also has extensive experience in managing cash and collateral, corporate action elections and holistic fund operations.

Prior to Brookfield Asset Management, Jacob worked at PPM America, Inc. as a Portfolio Analyst helping to cover liquidity, risk, business development, reconciliation and audit for broad-ranging global credit funds, ETFs and CLOs.

Prior to PPM America, Jacob worked at Northern Trust as an Analyst on the Corporate and Institutional Asset Management side, supporting investors in 40 Act funds and CITs.

Jacob received his BS from Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) where he majored in Corporate Finance, Applied Economics, Business Administration and Political Science. At ONU, he served as the Vice President of the McGraw School of Business Investment Club Fund. He achieved the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst designation from the Corporate Finance Institute in 2020 and passed the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate program in 2023.
