In 2016, Peter Scott founded Headwall Partners, a boutique firm focused on basic materials industries including steel, metals, mining, building products, paper and packaging. Headwall partners with XMS on its transactions, delivering the expertise of both firms to its clients.

Prior to Headwall, Peter spent over 12 years at Jefferies, serving as Americas head of industrials investment banking. Before that, Peter spent six years at Morgan Stanley as the global head of packaging investment banking, Americas head of steel and metals investment banking. Peter also spent four years at Salomon Brothers, a predecessor to Citigroup, as vice president of paper and packaging investment banking.

Peter received an MBA from The University Chicago Booth School of Business and completed the dual-degree Arts-Engineering program at Lehigh University, where he earned a B.S. in industrial engineering and a B.A. in English literature.
